We’re proud (and a little bit excited!) to share that Emotie is now officially a Certified B Corporation, joining a worldwide community of over 10,000 organisations using business as a force for good.
For us, this milestone means more than a badge. It’s recognition that everything we do, from how we build our technology to how we treat our people and partners, meets the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
Why B Corp Matters to Us
At Emotie, we believe that when people thrive, business follows. That belief sits at the core of our platform and our purpose: to help organisations create workplaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and connected.
Our web-based platform brings together performance management, engagement, and wellbeing in one intuitive space. Through quick, real-time check-ins, pulse surveys, and emotional insights, we help leaders respond with clarity and care, spotting signs of stress or disengagement early and supporting people in the moments that matter.
We call this the Employee Profit Chain: the powerful link between human wellbeing and business performance.
A Shared Philosophy
We’re also thrilled to share this achievement with one of our valued clients, Assura PLC, who were the first FTSE 250 company to achieve B Corp certification. Their CEO, Jonathan Murphy, summed up the shared spirit beautifully:
“At Assura, we’ve seen first-hand how the B Corp framework strengthens both purpose and performance. We’re delighted to see Emotie achieve their certification and join a community of businesses driving positive change. Their platform has put our people and wellbeing at the heart of performance, a philosophy we have embedded deeply at Assura and we’re proud to be one of their clients.”
Purpose at the Heart of Performance
As our founder, Claire Owen, puts it:
“Becoming a Certified B Corp is both an honour and a responsibility. It validates our belief that business performance and human understanding can, and should, coexist. The future of people management is a workforce that’s heard, not just measured.”
Joining the B Corp community is another step forward on our journey to reshape how the world thinks about performance, connection, and wellbeing at work.
It’s proof that you can build technology that measures success not just in profits, but in people.
